The Hayloft Hideaway

When Jan looked at the loft above her animal barn, she didn’t just see hay bales and raccoon squatters—she saw potential.

Her mission? Transform the space from “eau de barnyard” to a warm, stylish getaway perfect for hosting friends, family, and maybe even the occasional escape from reality.

The loft got a full glow-up: insulation to keep things cozy (sorry, goats), a kitchen to feed the masses (or at least make coffee), and a bathroom that doesn’t require a flashlight and a prayer. Best part? Not a whiff of the downstairs neighbors. It’s now a rustic-meets-refined retreat with just enough barn vibes to keep it charming—but not so much you smell like a stable.
