Since buying their house over a decade ago, these homeowners always wanted more space to entertain their family and friends. They wanted to extend their front room 18′ to make for great room with an 18×18 screened porch to enjoy the hot-tub. The only catch: they wanted to keep the existing cathedral ceiling, and have it open up to a perpendicular cathedral ceiling with no visible beam. After being told by three different contractors that what they wanted couldn’t be done, BGW got the call. They had heard that we thrive on doing what others say can’t be done.
